This is our classic washed coffee that exemplifies the best of traditional Colombian coffee with notes of caramel, dark chocolate, lemon peel and orange citrus.
We named this coffee after a large bird that is iconic to our region in Colombian; the Andean Motmot. His majestic green color blends in with the forest canopy but his tail sometimes give him away since it swings side to side like a pendulum on an antique clock. He has shocking red eyes, and likes to live in caves he makes out of dirt walls. He loves freshly moved dirt; so if you make a hole in the ground he’s probably waiting for the moment to fly down and catch his next meal.
