We are so excited to have coffee from another incredible biodinamic farmer. Offir Balvin has a farm located in Calarca, Quindio called “La Duquesa” or “The Duchess”. A mix of tabi, castillo, and caturra varieties, this washed process exemplifies delicate notes of jasmin flower, orange and sweet brown sugar.
The Squirrel Cuckoo is a rather large bird that tends to be quite shy. Offir is enchanted by this bird as it is so incredibly beautiful and one day decided to build a nest right next to her open dining room. This behavior really shocked her and became a symbol of the love and respect she has for the land and all the animals and inhabit it. This squirrel cuckoo knew she could trust Offir to protect her nest and her young.
